Kids are awesome and moms love their kids...but between the Raffi and the playdates and the nurturing and such, sometimes you need a quick break. Take a breather from the "mom (or dad) zone" for a few minutes. Put the baby in the crib, grab your tea, put your feet up and enjoy!

Solid Fashion Advice Special Baby Edition - Spring 2011

My little peanut Arlo was a big hit when he dished out the fashion advice the first time, so I thought I'd get his help in interpreting the trends for Spring 2011. I know y'all are itching to get out to the stores to buy some fashions. Let Arlo help you out! I'll be asking him which trends he prefers via a series of flash cards.

Style Credentials
He's pretty darn cute. He's only 6 months old, but he's already wearing 12 month-sized fashions. He's packed a whole year's worth of clothes into his short little life!

Let's get to it!

Q: Lace or fringe?

Arlo chose Christopher Kane lace over a Versace fringe dress.

Q: Long skirts or see-through pants?

Long skirts win! He liked Kiera Knightley in a demure calf-length skirt over Leighton Meester in hoochie lace harem pants.

Q: Denim on denim or stripes on stripes?

Arlo prefers Miu Miu's striped top and skirt over a Derek Lam trench/jean combo.

Q: Wigs or fans?

Arlo picked Gisele Bunchen rockin' a wig over Freja Beha Erichsen workin' a Louis Vuitton fan.

Q: 70's colour-blocking or 70's monochrome?

Arlo went for the colour blocking look. He loves lots of colours!

Q: White swan or black swan?

Don't worry, he didn't get to see the movie or anything. He ripped both cards to shreds, but seemed to prefer Natalie Portman in her white swan get-up.
